Geological thin sections, scanning and transmission electron microscope and chemical rock data is supplied by the human behind Xi Shan,
a Dr of planetary geoscience and also a rather silly Winnie the Pooh type human who loves space and really cool rocks.

And they shall be my finest explorers,
these humans who give of themselves unto me.
Like clay I shall mould them
and in the furnace of remote stars I shall forge them.
They shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In concealing cloaks I shall clad them
and with the strongest scanners shall they be armed.
They will be untouched by faction or conflict;
no pirate shall blight them.
They shall have such tactics, strategies and machines
that no foe will find them.
They are my light against the darkness.
They are the eyes for a blind Humanity.
They are my scouts…

And they shall know no fear.
